Position Summary

The Research Technologist II will support the Virology, Cell and Molecular Biology studies in a joint research laboratory for Dr. Xie and Dr. Zhang in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Duties include establishing and maintaining lab activities and resources, as well as conducting and coordinating experiments that are essential to research projects. Collects and organizes the data results and discusses findings and provides suggestions for the projects of virus-host interactions.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in an environment of collaboration and tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility in work load, and ability to work independently on a research project.

Preferred Education:
Master's degree or equivalent
